Trip to Utah part 3: Mesa Verde

We caravaned back from Utah to Mesa Verde with Marcus and Mandy and Grandma and Grandpa Brown. We stayed in this nice cabin not far from Mesa Verde.

It had a tent in the backyard that the kids absolutely loved.

Mesa Verde. These ancient pueblo are high on a mesa carved into the the underside of cliffs. It was breathtaking to see them in person.

The kids "grinding metate" just like the ancient Indians.

My camera died and I forgot to pack the cord. These are pictures of Kate's birthday we celebrated Monday night.
