Trip to Albuquerque: Part I
This is one of our first nights after driving to Albuquerque, NM, to visit my grandma. Jason and Lily pose in front of the Rio Grande River, a short walk from my grandmother's home.
Monday morning we visited Explora, the Children's Museum in Albuquerque. It opens an hour early on Mondays for toddlers and their parents, so it was really nice to enjoy the museum for a whole hour before the usual crowds showed up (although it never got very busy).
You drive all the way to Albuquerque, pay all this money to get into the museum, and your kids want to play with the Brio trains. Ah well.
Jason controlling the fountain.
Jason hogging the bubble wands. This was a fun stop. We spent a lot of time at the bubbles and had the whole room to ourselves for a good 10 to 20 minutes.
This bicycle was a couple stories off the ground. No, I did not ride it. Jason doesn't even look nervous.
Next stop: The Albuquerque Zoo.

Glad to see you're having such a great trip! How was Pacific City?? We were just there a couple weekends ago at our friends' cabin.
