Christmas Day

Ruth and Lily are still young enough they don't really remember  how Christmas Day works. Lily was more interested in mixing waffles than opening her presents.

Jason started Ruth got started with the stockings. Aunt Martha made all the nieces and nephews stockings with goodies, which were very fun.

We had Will and Martha's family, Heather and Emilio's family, and our family all doing Christmas morning under one roof, so we had all the kids in the upstairs living room opening gifts simultaneously.

Ruth and Lily are very into candy canes. If the Grinch were to come to our house, he'd be slipping candy canes out of Ruth's and Lily's hands just like in the video.

Essential glamour items.

Ruth had to help Lily open  most all her presents.

Lily got her new brush and headed straight over to cousin Mary's head and started to brush. Mary was a good sporty, looking down at her iPod and new iPod dock while Lily worked.

We knew Lily needed two things this Christmas: a brush and a doll with a lot of hair to brush it with.

Ruth wanted a Rapunzel Barbi.

A very princess Christmas.

We had a lot of cousins in town for Christmas dinner. See if you can spot all four four-year-olds.
