Ruth and Lily Dance Recital

Jason was able to make it to the dance recital, which was very exciting because we weren't sure if he would. Grandma Pilling also came. Jason was kind enough to record it for me so I could watch it and just really enjoy every minute. Unfortunately he had a little trouble keeping the camera still and in focus, and he missed one of Ruth's dances because he thought it was recording and it wasn't. But he got the better of the two. I really enjoyed the show. Ruth and Lily did a great job, especially considering they never danced on the big stage, with the bright lights and everything, until this night. It was a nice end to a year of driving back and forth to Cedar Hills two days a week. Next year they will have class on the same day, thank goodness.

I'm so excited you posted these!! My favorite part has got to be watching Lilly dance all over the stage alone from the pack, in sheer joy! hahaha! Self expression at this age is priceless! Ruth looks like she is the superstar of the class, and knew the entire dance! She could even find her "sticker" or "dot" on the stage! hahahaha! I love these Wendi!

These are so cute! Sydney says Lily is the cutest in her class, and that Ruth did a wonderful job, she was smiling so cute and doing so good! Very darling costumes. So fun!

Hi Wendi, It's been a while since we've talked! I actually went over to read Sarah's blog after I read yours and saw their picture in your darling daughter's blessing day picture :). I love reading about your cute family and think it's fun how our families have grown since Tew apartments. Your girls did great in their recital.
