Rule number 1: Never leave Lily unattended

Thanks to several unpleasant bathroom surprises, my check-on-Lily spider sense has become quite heightened of late. It went off yesterday when I could no longer hear her playing in her bedroom. I found her determinedly trying to cut her bangs off with kid scissors, which luckily are not very effective at cutting hair. She did, however, manage to take off one good chunk in the front, just in time for the end-of-year dance recital.

It never ends.
