Little Ninjas
Ruth and Lily took a Little Ninjas karate class in June.
Not only did they learn karate skills, but their teacher would talk about a different character trait each class:
1. Respect - Answer "Yes Sir!" or "Yes Ma'am" when asked to do something.
2. Focus - Look at one thing at a time.
3. Self Control - Control my body.
4. Teamwork - you have to work together to do something right.
5. Confidence - Say it with a loud voice, believe in yourself.
6. Stranger Danger - My voice is my best weapon.
Their teacher was super high energy and very fun (see video below).
