Catching up: Dance Competition, December 5th, 2014

Ruth missed her team's first dance competition because it was on a Sunday, unfortunately, but we made it to their second competition at the UNM Pit in Albuquerque on December 5th. Dad really bent over backwards to trade his shifts so he could come with us, which I'm so glad he did. It would have been near impossible without him there.

Ruth, Lily, and I sitting in the team/parents section. Our group from Farmington was quite big compared to a lot of the other groups there. Miss Sheila really takes on a lot of dancers, and they seem to do well. There were a lot of high school groups there. One high school team danced a medley to Frozen, and Jason and I both agreed we wished we'd recorded it. It was very good.

Ruth did very well for her first time competing with her team. Her dance group is made up of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders. Ruth has improved really tremendously since the start of the year.
